What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly and provide a better user experience.
Which Cookies We Use
WasteWise Marketplace uses a minimal set of cookies:
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function. Without them, the CRM login wouldn't work and form submissions might fail. They include:
- Authentication cookies from Supabase — used to keep administrators logged into the CRM
- Session cookies — temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser
Performance Cookies
Our hosting provider Netlify may use basic performance cookies for load balancing and security. These don't track you across sites or store personal information.
What We Don't Use
We do not currently use:
- Advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- Third-party analytics that track across websites
- Social media tracking
- Remarketing or retargeting cookies
If we ever add any of these (for example, if we start running Google Ads), we will update this policy and request your consent first.
Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can:
- Block all cookies (this will break the CRM login)
- Allow only essential cookies
- Delete cookies after each session
- Get notified before a cookie is stored
Here's how to manage cookies in major browsers:
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
