Agreement to Terms
By using WasteWise Marketplace (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and WasteWise Marketplace ("WasteWise," "we," "us," or "our").
Definitions
For clarity throughout this document:
- "Practice" means a medical, dental, veterinary, or similar healthcare facility using our service to find a medical waste vendor.
- "Operator" or "provider" (used interchangeably) means a medical waste disposal company listed in our directory or matched to a practice.
What WasteWise Is
WasteWise is a marketplace that helps medical, dental, veterinary, and similar practices compare medical waste disposal providers. We do this by:
- Providing a free invoice analyzer that identifies potential overcharges
- Matching qualified practices with vetted disposal providers in our network
- Facilitating quotes and introductions between practices and providers
WasteWise is not a medical waste disposal provider. We do not pick up, transport, treat, or dispose of medical waste. Those services are provided by independent third-party providers in our network.
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to enter contracts
- Represent a legitimate medical, dental, veterinary, or similar business
- Provide accurate information about your practice and needs
- Comply with all applicable laws
Fees and Payment
For practices: WasteWise is free. You pay nothing to use our invoice analyzer, request quotes, or receive comparisons. You pay us nothing if you switch providers through our marketplace.
For operators: Listing in the WasteWise directory is free.
How WasteWise Operates
WasteWise is an independent directory and marketplace. We are not affiliated with any individual operator and do not receive ownership stakes in our listed operators.
This means:
- We aim to match practices with operators based on service area, service type match, and operator availability
- Our recommendations reflect our independent assessment of fit
How the Service Works
Invoice analyzer
When you submit a medical waste invoice, our tool classifies line items as "legitimate," "junk fee," or "unverified" based on pattern matching and industry norms. The results are informational estimates, not professional advice. We make no guarantees that our classifications are correct for your specific situation.
Provider matching
When you submit an intake form, we share a limited subset of your practice information — practice type, zip code, pickup frequency, waste volume, and container needs — with 2-3 providers we believe are a good fit. We do not share your contact information, practice name, current provider, or current invoice details at this stage.
Providers quote through WasteWise. We deliver their quotes to you so you can compare side-by-side. Providers cannot contact you directly during the quote phase.
If you accept a quote and choose to move forward with a provider, we then share your contact information with that provider so they can set up service. You are not obligated to accept any quote and you may decline to engage further at any time.

No guaranteed savings
We cannot guarantee that any specific provider will be cheaper than your current one, or that any specific savings will be realized. Market conditions, waste volumes, and provider pricing all change over time.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information about your practice
- Not submit invoices or information that isn't yours to share
- Not misuse the Service for spam, harassment, fraud, or illegal activity
- Not reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our tools or proprietary data
- Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
Intellectual Property
All content on the WasteWise website — the invoice analyzer, comparison tools, written content, design, logos, and trademarks — is owned by WasteWise or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.
The information you submit (invoices, practice details) remains yours. You grant WasteWise a license to use your information to provide the Service and to analyze aggregated, anonymized data to improve our tools.
Third-Party Providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. WasteWise does not control their pricing, quotes, service quality, contract terms, or business practices. Your contract with any provider is between you and that provider — WasteWise is not a party to that contract.
If you have a dispute with a provider, contact the provider first. While we're happy to help facilitate communication, we cannot resolve disputes or enforce provider contracts on your behalf.
Disclaimers
Service provided "as is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of information.
Not professional advice
Information on the Service, including invoice analysis and savings estimates, is for informational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, accounting, or professional regulatory advice. You should consult qualified professionals for your specific situation.
No endorsement
Our participation in a transaction between you and a provider does not constitute an endorsement of that provider's services, quality, or regulatory compliance. You are responsible for your own due diligence on any provider you choose to engage.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WasteWise and its operators, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising from or related to the Service — regardless of the legal theory.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
Some states don't allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WasteWise from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
- Business discontinuation
You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will do so.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you via email or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
