Common questions about getting quotes

Will my current operator find out I'm shopping?

No. We never share your contact info with operators we're matching you with — and we never share your current operator's name or your current invoice details. Your shopping is completely invisible to your current provider until you choose to switch.

What if none of the quotes work for me?

Walk away. There's no obligation. We'd rather you not switch than take a deal that's wrong for you. If the quotes aren't right, tell us why — sometimes a second round of quotes is sharper because operators know they have to compete.

How long does the matching take?

You'll typically see quotes within 24–48 hours of submitting your intake form. Some operators turn quotes around the same day. Sometimes it takes a few days — especially in less-served zip codes where we have to do more outreach to find the right match.

Why do operators participate if they're competing on price?

Because the cost of acquiring a medical waste customer through traditional sales (cold-calling practice managers) is high. We bring them pre-qualified, anonymous leads — they only pay if they win. So even at competitive pricing, the math works for them.

What if I'm a hospital or large facility — does this still work?

Yes — but with a caveat. Most of our high-volume operators handle large facilities, but pricing for hospital-scale waste (1,000+ lbs/month) is more individualized. The intake process is the same, but expect quote turnaround to be 3–5 days rather than 24–48 hours.

Can I just see quotes for switching, even if I'm under contract?

Absolutely. Many practices use our quotes as leverage to renegotiate with their current provider. That's fine with us — saving you money is the goal whether you switch or just renegotiate. Just know that contract termination clauses (often 90+ days notice) may delay an actual switch.
